John Hoey is a diverse entertainer and triple-threat
multi-instrumentalist of trumpet, guitar, and voice. He has been
working on the jazz scene from an early age and is now traveling
up and down the East Coast establishing himself as one of the
youngest interpreters of the Great American Songbook today.
John has played with the Mills Brothers, the World Famous Glenn
Miller Orchestra, and through his studies at Rowan University
has had the pleasure of performing with many great artists and
acts including Rufus Reid, and the John Pizzarelli Trio.
With his own Nat "King" Cole style trio and as a sideman, John
has performed at venues including Chris' Jazz Cafe and the Kelly
Center among others. He has taken the stage at jazz festivals
including the Rowan University Jazz Festival, Clifford Brown
Jazz Festival, and was chosen to participate in the 2023
Boysie-Lowery Living Jazz Residency in Wilmington, Delaware. Most recently John was a member of a choir that
participated in singing Beethoven's 9th Symphony at the
world renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Ferguson, John performs and entertains with positive stage
presence and creative energy.
